One of the simplest Rigging accessories, but an essential element in any Fall Arrest package.
A good shock absorbing lanyard is invaluable in a fall situation. The shock absorber element will reduce the shock impact to less than 6 KN, and so reduces the chance of you being injured. DarkSide is proud to bring you our new “NEO” range of single and double shock absorbing lanyards, as well as a tried and tested range of standard lanyards, all with a variety of end fittings available.
A single lanyard enables you to clip onto a continuous lifeline. These are best used when you clip on and stay on. Double lanyards are a worthy investment for the operator who is clipping on and off from various lifelines – two hooks means you are never disconnected from your lifeline or fall arrestor.
